United Hebrew Rehab

There was recently a grand reopening of the United Hebrew Beverly and Alfred J. Green Rehabilitation Gym , which was renovated due to the generosity of Anthony Nardozzi, United Hebrew Board Member. Burke Rehabilitation trained therapists provide management and care for the rehab program at United Hebrew.

The renovated gym is a perfect space for assisting patients in transitioning to home after treatment. It is equipped with a walk-in shower, mock bedroom and kitchen. The therapists work with patients in the activities of daily living so that they are prepared to be independent in their own homes.

There are many rehab centers in the area helping Jewish and other patients including Morningside Recovery Center.

New equipment includes the LiteGait System where patients with difficulty walking can now be safely supported with a harness, allowing the devise to assist them to stand while the therapist facilitates ambulation. The therapists are focused on returning patients home in the shortest amount of time possible, at the greatest level of independence possible.
