With uncertain tax changes ahead to philanthropic donations, many organizations are raising funds during a special End-of-2012 fundraising campaign. Taxes can be offset by generous philanthropic donations – and two great causes include:
n Aish.com is seeking to raise $100,000 before the end of the year, as they say to “Provide quality, inspiring Jewish content.” They have a number of different ways to donate, including a $100,000 sweepstakes – More information is available at: https://secure.aish.com/
o The Aish Center in New York offers regular programming from its NYC center – board members include Lionel Leventhal, Partner, Paul Capital Partners, Seth Horowitz, President, Men’s Division, Iconix Brands, and Ronn Torossian of 5WPR.
n Another organization raising funds is Chabad of Lincoln Center – Chabad of the West 60’s has grown quickly with their Lincoln Center location and serves thousands of Jews yearly. Donations can be made at www.chabadw60s.com or mail a check to Chabad of the West 60s, 145 West 67th Street, Suite 3C New York, NY 10023.
