Research States PR Indusry Sales in 2012 10.9 Billion

5WPR was very pleased at the findings of recently released highlights on the growth and revenue of the public relations industry.
IBIS World, a leading research company estimates that the revenue of the Public Relations industry will finish 2012 at $10.9 billion, and will continue growing quickly. IBIS world also estimates that PR firms will be able to achieve higher profit in coming years as a result of rising marketing budgets.
Its an industry with some very large firms – IBISWorld estimates the four largest PR firms account for 19.9% of Public Relations Firms industry revenue in 2012.
IBIS world is selling a report on the public relations industry, which states in part that: “Public relations firms are taking advantage of social networking websites and other technology-focused trends in order to gain footing in the new economic climate. As the general economy moves into a recovery, corporate spending will increase, fueling industry revenue.”
A lot of activity and excitement abounds in the PR industry.
