Kars 4 Kids And Other Charities Helping Staten Island Residents

Kars 4 Kids, a national car donation charity together with politicians and religious leaders will be giving away coats and clothing on Sunday, January 20 from 11 am to 4 PM at the Old Villa Mara Dealership, located at 2582 Highland Boulevard in Staten Island.  The organization will distribute coats for kids and clothing items for New Yorkers negatively impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

As the $50 billion Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Act heads to the Senate, many Staten Island residents are need of immediate and continued assistance and struggling to recover from Hurricane Sandy. Storm victims are asked to pre-register at http://www.kars4kids.org/sandyevent or by calling (718) 219-0061 and to bring their FEMA cards to the event.

Celebrity appearances will be made by Big Ang of the TV series Mob Wives, and Uncle Nino of Jersey Shore. Sponsors include include Movement Church, Church at the Gateway, Third Day Mission Organization, Yellow Team, Hot Concepts Fireplace and Patio, Angelica Prozak, Country Mouse Children’s Clothing Store, Sal Brooklyn North Garage 2 NYC Dept of Sanitation and Everything Entertainment.
