Jewish & Israel Public Relations News

Ronn Torossian shares interesting Jewish & Israel PR news:

n  This week major news out of Israel where a new law took effect – the first of its kind anywhere in the world where it was decided that models that have body mass index (BMI) of less than 18.5 cannot be featured in media or featured in modeling shows at all.  Tremendously positive for women’s image and self-esteem.  Let’s see Israel get recognized for this as they should.

n  So many worldwide supporters of Israel are Christian (like Jay Sekulow of ACLJ) – Visit the religious Christian site to read of a special prayer they propose which says that “The Israeli Government needs to counter the lies which are being circulated in the world. Eg about whose fault it is that Bethlehem’s population is now only about 20% Christian, as compared to about 80% in 1948. The world is generally silent regarding persecution of Christians by Moslems.”

n  As discussed in Times Of Israel, the recent Molad study is inaccurate and politically biased – read the whole piece at:

n  Recently learned about year round Camp Oorah projects to keep kids off streets – a group called ChillZone where the kids get mentorship weekly, programs and learning.  It’s a nice touch.
