Creative Jewish Entrepreneur Philanthropists

There are so many creative Jewish entrepreneurs doing fascinating work to make the philanthropic Jewish world a better place.

Urban Adamah, a Berkeley, California based non-profit organization is buying a property currently valued at over $2 Million to create the “largest urban Jewish farm” in America. The organization is an organic Jewish farm and educational organization, which currently has a farm along with educational programming in Berkeley.

“This land is a dream come true. It’s incredibly rare for such a large undeveloped tract to be available in this city—let alone one with access to a restored creek, forest habitat and playing fields. It is an incredible opportunity for us and for the whole community,” said Adam Berman who founded the organization.

Recently, Ron Hershco vowed to help build a school in the rockaways in New York, and of course Mark Birnbaum continues to make captivating films.  Isn’t it wonderful and exciting to make the entire world a better place?
