ACLJ Petition Says Defeat The Dangerous Chuck Hagel

The American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ) has recently launched a petition which has attracted over 150,000 signatures calling upon people to protect Israel and defeat the nomination of Chuck Hagel, an anti-Israel former Senator to be the next Secretary of Defense of the United States of America.
Senator Chuck Hagel has refused to sign a letter supporting Israel, opposed labeling Hezbollah a “terrorist organization,” and supported direct dialogue with the terrorist group Hamas. Senator Hagel even voted against labeling Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, which has a long history of terrorist activity a “terrorist organization.”

To the United States Senate:
Former Senator Chuck Hagel is not the right man to run the Department of Defense. His record of appeasing a soon-to-be nuclear Iran and opposing our ally Israel should disqualify him from becoming second in command of our Armed Forces. Vote against his nomination and ask the Obama Administration to put forth a nominee who is better qualified to direct and oversee our nation’s critical defense needs.

Chuck Hagel IS dangerous to the US as Nuclear Iran- which is around the corner. If you have any doubt about that- you either have very limited understanding if Middle East dynamics and forces (now also North Africa) OR you have a very biased perception of reality.
Majority of comments on yahoo is no measure. The reason why Hagel should not be confirmed is simple:
A secretary of Defense should have a broad support backed by strong, consistent record. Hagel has a weak support at best, a very sketchy, shady record which he deceitfully tries to hide (does not report speeches he gave & cannot recall comments he made as recently as 2010? ) and is very inconsistent- disavowing practically every statement he made in the last 20 years. Only to get confirmed.
